    Black painted iron with original ring footrests. Re-glued, re-pinned. Pulls right up to a kitchen window.

    Cream lacquer with cherry-blossom motif, original brass pulls. Top drawer sticks. We left it on purpose. (Mostly.)

    Wrought-iron bases with grey upholstered cushions, freshly re-stuffed. Glass top has one chip — keep your napkin folded over it.

    Six-spindle Windsor backs, drop-leaf maple table. Re-glued, re-oiled. Seats six comfortably, eight if everyone gets along.
